The NKM2401 encoder/decoder chip provides a more reliable method of transmitting serial data wirelessly via radio link within PICAXE projects. By Manchester encoding the serial data and using checksums, data reliability is greatly increased.
Radio modules not included, any AM or FM low cost module pairs will work with this system. These are the encoder chips as used on the AXE213 project PCB, but these chips can also be used within your own projects.
Purchase 2 chips for a working system: one as encoder, the other as decoder.
